Hi! I’m Glen Pavlovich, and I’m the General Sales Manager of Griffin Ford, the premier Ford Dealership in Waukesha, Brookfield, and all of the Milwaukee Metro.
This is not an accident.
After being out of the car industry for a year, I decided to re-enter automobile sales under very specific conditions. First, the dealer for whom I worked had to have a great reputation in the community. Second, the company had to be locally owned. Lastly, the atmosphere of the dealership needed to be supportive and considerate for both its employees and its customers.
I found all of this close to home, at Griffin Ford of Waukesha.
My story in automobile sales began in Bessemer, Michigan for Bessemer Auto, a former Ford franchise dealership with roots dating back to the 1920s. At Bessemer Auto, I learned the car business from the second generation owner, John “Rocky” Racovitis. From Rocky, I learned that focusing first on the customer and their needs creates loyalty that is vital to the success of a dealership and the automobile industry itself.
It is with this foundation in the car industry that when I moved to Waukesha I explored selling for other franchise dealerships such as Infiniti and Chevrolet as well as Suzuki and Hino heavy-duty trucks.
Eventually, it became clear that people love owning cars, love getting new cars, but typically hate the process of buying them. Solving that problem became Glen’s obsession.
My professional approach to training and coaching salespeople is rather simple.
If you would like to experience this level attention when you purchase your next vehicle, recommend you contact Glen Pavlovich of Griffin Ford.
In 2019 I was promoted to Sales Manager and then in 2021 promoted again to General Sales Manager at Griffin Ford. Now I train, encourage and lead the entire sales team at the dealership.
As always, my primary goal is to ensure that customers have an amazing sales experience.

Most of us remember the first car we ever owned, and in many cases it was probably on the cheaper side. Sometimes when money is tight, or we’re just unwilling to spend much on a vehicle, we have to look at the lower end of the market to find a car at the right price.

If you’re thinking about buying a new vehicle, it’s natural to worry about how to best protect it.
Vehicles are big investments, and even a dent or a scratch can potentially knock hundreds of dollars off a vehicle’s value. For many drivers, it’s easy to avoid accidental damage by storing their vehicle in a garage at home. But what about drivers who don’t have a garage to use? Are they putting their vehicle in danger by leaving it outside at night?

It can be tough to decide whether you want a large or a small vehicle.
On the surface, both serve the same purpose. Regardless of your vehicle’s size, it’s probably what you use for your daily commute and all your other travel needs. But when you compare a midsize sedan to a heavy-duty SUV, it’s like looking at two completely different beasts. How are you expected to compare vehicles that seem so completely different from each other?
If you’re hung up on this stage of the car buying process, here are some quick facts that should help you decide.

All good things must come to an end. And sometimes, that includes vehicles.
When a car manufacturer feels that a particular line of vehicles has run their course, they’ll retire them for the next model year. There’s no universal reason why this happens. Sometimes a vehicle is made obsolete by a similar vehicle in a manufacturer’s lineup. It’s also possible that a vehicle just didn’t sell well enough. But regardless of these reasons, a discontinued vehicle can wind up turning into a great deal for the right driver.

We don’t often hear about the dangers of night driving, but perhaps we should. According to the National Safety Council, the risk of a fatal accident increases by three times at night. In fact, more than 40% of all fatal car accidents occur at night, despite there being less than half the normal amount of traffic on the road. Since night driving is unavoidable for virtually all of us, it’s important to know the do’s and don’ts of keeping safe after dark.

When switching or getting rid of a car, your options are usually to trade the vehicle in, sell it on your own, or give it away to someone or junk it. Most people choose to go the trade-in route, simply because it’s the most convenient and hassle-free.
But some people choose to sell a vehicle on their own in hopes of making more from the sale than they believe that they can get in trade-in value. There’s nothing wrong with doing this, and plenty of people are comfortable with selling their vehicles in a private party sale. But many people are unaware of some of the most important aspects of selling a car on their own.

Let’s face it: most people aren’t inclined to trust any salesperson at first glance, let alone a car salesperson.
From media depictions in TV shows and movies to urban legends, car salespeople are often presented as conniving weasels that want to take you to the cleaners. Even popular websites and magazines proudly feature articles that advise “the things to never tell your car salesperson” or “the best ways to negotiate with a car salesperson.” This paints a picture that buying a vehicle is some kind of high-stakes battle of wits. Or at worst, this makes you feel like you’ll get ripped off unless you find a way to work around your car salesperson’s nefarious motives.

Statistics show that 6 million car accidents occur in the United States every year. And of those accidents, 3 million people sustain injuries. With proper care and maintenance, you can avoid spending a lot of money on your vehicle. However, there’s one thing we all got to spend money on whether we like it or not: gas.
Studies show that the average American driver spends $2,000 a year on gasoline. Heck, if you wind up driving your car for 10 years, you could wind up spending more on gas than you did on the car itself! No one wants to spend more on fuel than they have to, and fortunately, there are many easy ways for drivers to cut their fuel costs down to size.
Below are five ways you can spend less at the pump in the long run.

If you’re going to spend thousands of dollars on anything, you’ll want to invest in something that will last.
This is especially true of vehicles. According to modern statistics, the average driver keeps their vehicle for about 6 years. Meanwhile, the average new home owner will stay in their first house for 3-5 years. That’s right, statistics show that you’ll actually own a car longer than your first house. And if you play your cards right, you could wind up owning a new vehicle for a lot longer than that too.
If you buy a new vehicle today, how long should you expect it to last? Well, how does over a decade sound?

And there’s no high school or college class that teaches you how to buy a vehicle, which makes the whole process seem even scarier. How are you supposed to know if you’re even getting a good deal?
Let’s set the record straight: any eligible driver is perfectly capable of owning their own vehicle. And even if you aren’t ready for your first set of keys just yet, there are important steps you can take now that will help you a lot in the future.
